A drawing oil filtration system operating in tandem with the drawing of aluminum wire is described. Draw lubrication is obtained with the use of Cindol No. 4683, which is continuously filtered by a Hoffman Vacu-matic filtration system VAC 3000. Improved quality of production and productivity rates and extended die life appear to have resulted from use of the system.
