Finite element method analysis of multi-pass drawing process under hydrodynamic and conventional friction conditions

$15.00

This paper shows analysis of the multi-pass drawing process using the finite element method. The transfer of mechanical properties and the possibility of recrystallization annealing after each pass, the change of friction conditions and thermal processes have been taken into account during research. The authors observed a decrease in non-uniform distribution of mechanical properties on the wire cross-section and a decrease of drawing process force parameters during the hydrodynamic process.
