Galvanizing wire control using nitrogen gas

$15.00

The most recent developments in the wire galvanizing process (low and medium coating) have been directed to substituting the use of charcoal or pads to control the zinc coating, by a non-complex method that avoids additions of charcoal in a determinate time or changes of pads when the zinc coating is out of control. The use of nitrogen as a wiping system on wire has been an adequate method to achieve this objective. Using a special device for nitrogen injection for easy and quick handling of the wire, it is possible to get good results to control the zinc coating on the wire and good appearance and ductility (on the wrap test).
