Description
Delamination tends to occur more frequently in a large wire than in a fine wire. As a result of observing the starting point of delamination with SEM, it turns out that delamination occurs as a result of a combination of micro cracking of the surface part, and delamination is controlled by removing the surface layer. Furthermore, the appearance of transformation of the pearlite grains is different after drawing. In a fine wire, the pearlite grains can be more easily rotated in the drawing direction than in a large wire.
