To achieve high current density during electrolysis, it is necessary to reduce the thickness of the diffusion layer and remove the evolved gas. An efficient pickling and plating cell is developed to fulfill this purpose. Nozzles form the electrolyte in high-speed jets for blowing off gas bubbles and decreasing the diffusion layer.
