New machines for high-speed drawing of nonferrous wire are described: KDA-OAK copper rod breakdown machinery (8 mm wire, finishing speed of 50 m/sec); OBG single spooler (4 metric tons, 30 m/sec) with SPC-spool-handling equipment that can produce cores of pure nonferrous wire; fully or semi-automatic payoff equipment. Economic advantages of these machines are considered.
