High-strength and high fatigue limit zinc galvanized steel cord for ACSR

$15.00

A new galvanized steel wire, developed by Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd., which has higher tensile strength (1765 N/mm) and higher fatigue limit (392 N/mm) with the same ductilities (elongation, torsion, wrap) as the conventional wire. Improvements from patenting to galvanizing are described schematically and in detail. This improved wire is recommended for use in the ACSR for U.H.V. overhead power transmission lines.
