Factors that contribute to the determination of the efficiency of drawing lines of varying composition are pinpointed. The incidence of these eight productivity factors, accounted for in both productive and non-productive times, allow for in effect, a time and motion study of the wiredrawing operation. A mathematical analysis for optimizing efficiency both in labor time and machine operations is provided.
