Induction tempered spring wire

$15.00

Traditionally, carbon and alloy spring wire has been processed by the oil-tempered method involving a combination of slow-running multiwire systems, gas-fired muffle furnaces, molten lead baths, fluidized beds, oil-quench systems, and associated fume extraction equipment. Induction tempered spring wire lines are a complete departure from the normal method of oil tempering in that, among other things, they are in-line single wire lines compared to the conventional multiwire lines.
