Integral shielding system- updated

$15.00

The integral shielding system, (ISS) also know as Polykote, introduced commercially in 1971, and now recognized by the AEIC is described. ISS is composed of two components, first a highly conductive polymeric coating, and second a special nylon semi-conductive tape known as Formula 252 wrapped over the coating. This insulation shield is easy to terminate while still meeting specifications for high voltage cables. Discharge characteristics, volume resistivity, and resistance stability are tested.
