Description

Integrated Process Management is an international objective as well as a mandate from many industries and organizations including the Department of Defense. Unfortunately there has not been a clear explanation of how to ‘do’ IPM. IPM is a management philosophy that includes much more than just SPC and automated data acquisition. Discussed will be a seven step process for IPM that includes: 1) Create a Positive Environment 2) Identify Key Variables 3) Develop the Process Model 4) Develop Process Standards 5) Communicate Process Standards 6) Control the Process 7) Improve the Process. Several success stories associated with this process will also be shared.
