Description
The producer of automotive components demands an ever greater degree of downstream transformation like peeling, cut to final length, drilling, and machining. This paper presents the improvements in the production of steel products from a producer of special steels in wire rod and bars for the automotive supply chain. These improvements offer greater added value such as hot rolled bars with tight tolerances for peeling, drawn bars quenched and tempered for stabilizer bars, and machined and drilled bars for steering components.
