Ironing with superimposed force

$15.00

Ironing is a procedure that has been studied less frequently than extrusion, despite its numerous advantages. However, it has the disadvantage of small deformation which can be increased in thick-walled work-pieces by adding a superimposed force on the work-piece edge. This paper presents an analysis of ironing with superimposed force using both the standard analytical method and the numerical method (FEM).
