Manual methods such as microscopes and profile projectors have traditionally been used for off-line measuring of cables. ACM’s automatic measuring unit KSM, using human independent imaging technology, gives a far better repeat accuracy. This method also gives much better statistical information to minimize the over-dimensional cost in the extruder lines.
