Mechanical analysis of polymers aged in optical cable filling compounds

$15.00

An investigation of the mechanical properties of natural and synthetic hydrocarbon carrier based filling compounds was undertaken, and several of the filling compounds were then used in compatibility studies with various buffer tube and sheath materials. The compatibility with various cable materials was measured using the standard Instron Tensile testing and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) methods.
