Mechanical galvanizing of nails is highlighted as a process with strong advantages over other older methods of hot dip, spun galvanizing and electroplating. Advantages described include uniform coating thickness controlled by the amount of metal powder, which ennables automatic nails to be produced which will not jam machines, and fewer rejections.
