Microstructure and properties of wires from platinum alloys for the catalytic ammonia oxidation processes

$15.00

This paper will explain a technological flow-sheet for the manufacture of wire from platinum alloys with rhodium, designed for knitted and woven gauzes to be used in industrial reactors in the catalytic ammonia oxidation process. Changes in the mechanical properties of some platinum-rhodium alloys dependent on the magnitude of cold deformation and heat treatment conditions are described.
