Modeling of the delamination of high strength steel wire

$15.00

One of the main obstacles to higher strength of drawn full pearlitic steel wires has been the delamination syndrome. The objectives of this study have been, by modeling, to predict in theory and to confirm the practice of the mechanism of nucleation of delamination: intense shear banding and void formation within and at the shear band intersections.
