Open fire furnace: a new concept for a more efficient use of energy

$15.00

Open fire furnaces have been used for many years in the annealing or austentizing process. When energy efficiency is a goal, the minimizing of auxiliaries or maintenance aspects have to be taken into account. Following this philosophy and based on the optimizing of the flow of fuel gas and convection, a new furnace design has been created where energy management has been dramatically improved. This paper presents the performance of such a new design.
