EM is a very adaptable and intuitive new method for experimentation and modeling which yields conclusive results. The software allows the user to understand how the input variables (factors) affect the output or quality characteristics. Once the model is determined it is easy to understand which factors and which interactions explain the process variation. Gains in quality and productivity achieved using the EM method will be discussed using two case studies.
