Permissible reductions in hydrodynamic drawing of low carbon steel wires

$15.00

Values of permissible single reductions in hydrodynamic drawing of low carbon steel wires were determined in this study. The effect of a narrow gap in the approach die on the draw stresses and mechanical properties of wires has also been investigated. These properties and process parameters were compared with similar data for conventional drawing. Results of this work can be used to design parameters for drawing low carbon steel wires in pressure dies.
