Perspectives in energy saving in fluidized bed patenting

$15.00

In wire production, the patenting process remains the most costly stage. In this field, technical solutions such as preheating of combustion air or forced convection of burned gases have been applied for more than 10 years. However, the trend of the increasing running speed of wires requires longer equipment. This paper presents a research program funded by the European Community to improve the use of energy and the quality of the products.
