This paper describes a theoretical method of planning a schedule and a number of single reductions in the wiredrawing process. A criterion for calculating the values of the single reduction was based on the increments of the plastic deformation energy. Examples of calculations of the schedule of draws and values of single reductions for different materials are also described.
