Polyethylene Silane Copolymers as new low-voltage insulation systems

$15.00

Union Carbide Corporation has recently introduced moisture curable SI-LINK(TM) crosslinkable. polyethylene resins for low voltage underground service entrance (USE) cable insulation applications. The material has specific property and processing attributes which are advantageous to the fabricator and which lead to enhanced performance at reduced fabrication costs. A comparison of Union Carbide’s SI-LINK(TM) crosslinkable polyethylene to other moisture curable and crosslinkable technologies will be described. Specific extrusion methods will also be described.
