Process monitors for forming machines

$15.00

One of the obvious ways to increase efficiency and productivity of a manufacturing process is to reduce the amount of scrap that is produced. This may sound over-simplistic. However, a heading machine running at 250 blanks per minute will make a large quantity of “junk” when the phillips nib breaks off. The machine does not know the nib has broken. The scenarior cited above is the most obvious application for a process monitor. The monitor senses a change in the process and stops the machine.
