Producing high-strength ductile Cu-10Ni-8Sn alloy wire

$15.00

A new processing-step-sequence technique improving the 0.2% offset yield strength, tensile and bend properties of Cu-10Ni-8Sn-.2Nb alloy wire is presented. It is claimed by this investigation that mechanical properties are improved by a cold working treatment prior to aging and post cold working. Comparative results of thermomechanically processed alloy using a common manufcturing sequence are provided.
