The limiting factors for speed and efficiency can often be found with the binder head and take-up. This presentation centers on an unprecedented binding technique and binding head which allows for binding speeds up to 6000 rpm and production without stoppages for binder changes. The second part describes an innovation in layer winding take-ups that guarantees near perfect layer-winding and does not require the operator to input reel diameter, cable diameter or reel width.
