Production of fibers in steel tubes for OPGW

$15.00

The classic fiber in steel tube design, which has been used in numerous cable constructions, is most commonly encountered in OPGW aerial cable. These cables have been installed over the past 10 to 15 years in various environments. To cover nearly all requirements a stainless steel tube is continuously butt welded, into which a specified number of fibers or a fiber core is inserted. This manufacturing method today represents a standard production technology.
