The New Zealand, Auckland mill, a heavy exporter of galvanized wire, (Class 3, ASTM A641 standard), has developed a technique to further its export capacity by additionally producing regular coating, (no minimum specified coat weight), zinc wire, without the need for modification to its existing plant. The existing plant is designed for vertical wipe through charcoal beds. Schematics of the mounting systems are given.
