Prospects in brass plating of wire for steel tire cord

$15.00

The new generation of brass plating technology for steel wire consists of individual electrolytic galvanizing cells which are completely separated from each other both on the electrical side and the mechanical side. The individual cells are decoupled on the bath entry and bath exit side by long pipes which are working as resistance sections. A multiwire brass plating line with 40 wires and 680 individual plating cells will be presented. The new brass plating technology will be compared with other applied brass plating processes
