A new wiredrawing machine designed to dry draw high carbon wire (0.3-0.8 mm) at 30 m/sec is described; provisions for cooling the drawing block, elimination of dust and noise, and cost-effective improvement of electrical equipment are discussed. Design of the Turbo-cold system is detailed.
