Recirculation furnace for multi-strand steel wire annealing

$15.00

This paper introduces a newly developed heating technology for multiwire heating plants and compares it to conventional furnace systems. Due to the high velocity (up to 30 m/s) of the gas, the heat transfer from the heating gas to the wires to be heated is significantly improved. For example, 40% of energy is saved at a plant with continuous throughput for the patenting of steel wire. The high recirculation furnace is universally applicable for continuous wire annealing processes.
