High performance flame retardant wire and cable formulations with greatly reduced smoke generation properties have been developed. This has been accomplished using traditional halogenated flame retardants with a unique combination of fillers and other additives. Smoke levels are significantly reduced while physical, flame retardant and other properties are maintained.
