Relationship between the quality of stainless steel drawn wire and the geometrical tolerances of springs

$15.00

The geometric variability of springs, analyzed through chaos theory techniques, is found to be closely related to the variation of production parameters of stainless steel wires: diameter, tensile strength and coating. Tight spring geometric tolerances are achieved via in-line control of the drawing parameters by means of specifically developed equipment.
