Presentation of case histories of pickling operations with resource recovery equipment installed. Examination of the costs and benefits involved in addressing environmental problems with resource recovery. The focus will include closed loop systems recovering acid, rinse water, and waste heat. Studies will be presented quantifying the level of recovery currently possible and practical. The advantages and disadvantages of equipment installation on production will be addressed.
