The processing of high molecular weight rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds without the addition of plasticizer (which tends to reduce the PVC characteristics) is described. Laboratory work on Marvinol VR-10 and recommended procedures for the extrusion of Marvinol rigid compounds are presented. Properties and uses of the material are discussed.
