Description

This paper describes rod breakdown machines with one independent motor for each capstan which allow matching of the speed of the wire with the RPM of the individual capstan, thus almost eliminating the slip that usually takes place on a traditional gear-driven machine. It also describes a complete range of multiwire drawing machines specifically designed for customers who are producing coax cables and are faced with the challenge of producing Al5154 with high output and low production costs.
