Description
In today’s world of environmental concerns and energy-saving processes, induction heating is beginning to become a more familiar site on the wire process line. In the traditional heat treatment line, a variety of furnaces is available to achieve certain processes. Lead bath, fluidized bed and open-hearth furnaces each have good points and problems. The use of induction as a heating source, either directly or indirectly, offers a clean, efficient, non-contact heating approach that addresses many concerns associated with these furnaces.
