The Injected Metal Assembly (IMA) technique eliminates the manufacturing and inventory requirements of terminations and their assembly onto a cable or wire by brazing, soldering, crimping, or swaging. Wire or cable may be bare or covered, its construction may be single wire, cable or rope, with or without a core. The technique injecting various terminations onto the ends of wires and cables is described.
