Soot characteristics in copper continuous casting

$15.00

The phenomena of secondary pyrolysis of soot particles during casting is examined. The belief that characteristics of soot determining the cooling rate during solidification are promoted as its structure approaches more closely to that of graphitic structure is secondarily studied. The object of this work is to interpret some of the experimental data and point out problems related to castbar quality.
