Stainless steel spring wire with music wire mechanical characteristics

$15.00

The precipitation hardening of stainless steels containing aluminum leads to high mechanical properties. However, these grades type 17-7PH are brittle and have an insufficient fatigue resistance. The utilization of a new grade without aluminum makes it possible to reach mechanical characteristics close to carbon steel music wire after precipitation hardening, with a very good fatigue resistance.
