Strain rate in process of wiredrawing

$15.00

The distribution of strain rates in the conical part of the die has been calculated depending on draw speed, initial and final wire diameters, single reduction and die angle. Values of mean strain rates and real strain rates were calculated for a range of the single reduction from 10 to 40 percent and die angles 2@ = 12°, 18°, 24° for drawing low carbon steel wires. Results of theoretical calculations were compared.
