This paper describes early experiences with drawing low temperature (LT) superconductor wires on the wet-type non-slip drawing machine MSM85 and different types of LT-superconductors and their technical applications. It introduces the company’s complete wiredrawing line including payoff, drawing machine and take-up. It also outlines special requirements resulting from the application for LT-superconductors.
