Surface modification of brass coated steel cord by electro plasma technology

$15.00

Electro Plasma Technology (EPT) was used to process brass-coated steel cord. Two types of tests were carried out: 1) creation of surface roughness in brass by use of different electrolytes and 2) application of different coatings. Surface profile, morphology, and composition were studied. EPT provided an anchor profile that has great potential for improvement of adhesion to resins and rubber.
