Technical advances in the new SCR copper rod mill

$15.00

Presented is the new Southwire Co. SCR-6580 copper system, which produces up to 60 short tons of copper per hour, and incorporates ‘state-of-the-art’ developments in the continuous casting and rolling of tough pitch copper. The system uses fully automated, fuel efficient melting furnaces, automated metal-pouring systems for molten metalhandling and casting, computerized process monitoring and control instrumentation and in-line eddy current flow detection. SCR properties are charted.
