This paper presents several technical and technological solutions adopted by Sampsistemi to reduce energy consumption along wire and cable production lines. It examines the cost breakdown of flexible strand manufacturing; the technical and technological solutions implemented on heavy-duty drawing lines, multi-wire drawing lines, and high-speed bunching lines; and future areas of development.
