Teflon 100X FEP wire and cable insulation: its place in the fluorocarbon family

$15.00

Service properties of Teflon 100X-FEP insulation are compared to those of Teflon-6 TFE and Kel-F 500. Resistance to embrittlement and flow at high temperatures give extruded 100X-FEP the advantage as primary insulation. Teflon-6 TFE tape has better flow resistance as a jacketing material, but 100X-FEP is still preferable for most jacketing applications.
