The cleanliness scanning system; a tool for a superclean concept

$15.00

The global growth in the demand for electricity will continue to increase the need for medium voltage, high voltage and extra high voltage power cable in transmission and distribution. Cleanliness of the insulating material is among the most important quality criteria in the production of XLPE insulated cables. Nokia-Maillefer, Sikora and Furukawa have joined in the development of the Cleanliness Scanning System CSS2, a tool for customers to create a superclean concept using on-line supervision of the total XLPE material, for purity in the flow channel directly before the X-head.
