The Equipment and Cables used in the Optical Fiber Network at Banverket, Sweden

$15.00

Banveket, part of the recently deregulated Swedish Railroad Authority, has extended its private nationwide communication network using 2500 km optical fiber cable. This dedicated network will include transmission system up to 565 Mbit/s and gives Banverket possibilities to integrate data, telecommunications and signal transmission. The network will be monitored by a network-monitoring system including DXC(digital cross connection) in the future. The chosen topology is aimed to give a very high degree of service level.
