The Impact of Wire Processing Machinery On Nonferrous Wire Quality

$15.00

Wire processing machinery and systems have a tremendous effect on the quality level of nonferrous wire, stranded conductors and insulated wire and cable. Identification and application of the key quality factors for the final product will allow one to design a machine or system that will consistently produce the desired level of quality in a final product. In this paper, wiredrawing, annealing, packaging, plating and bunching processes will be explored to determine the impact that each has on the final product. New systems will be discussed, and the alternate methods of wire processing will be compared.
